What Is EcoBoost

Getting the most out of your automobile fuel can dramatically reduce your carbon footprint related to your transportation needs. The less CO2 that’s emitted from your car’s tailpipe over the course of your car’s life, the less burden on the environment. Car manufacturers around the globe, using many pre-existing and popular car designs already on the roads, have been busy squeezing better fuel efficiency from the engines.

Ford has done this is what it calls Eco Boost

The way you normally drive has a huge impact, being quick off the starting line at a stop sign or signal; or motoring at excessively high speeds (70 mph+) along the highway dramatically inflates your carbon footprint.

But the type of car you drive and its inherent fuel efficiency far outweigh driving habits.
