Summer vs Winter Smog: There’s A Difference

It is no surprise that many major cities around the world have horrific air quality. But did you know that there is a difference between summer and winter smog?

It has to do with the amount of ozone in the area and how it interacts with the warmer temperatures. Ironically, we want to do exactly what we should NOT do in this environmental hazardous soup: Exercise.

Outside of pollen, ozone equals eye itch.

This video focuses on London, one of the worst with this ozone problem. But the good news is that London is now starting to tackle this matter since it is now more widely recognized by its leaders that ozone is a serious problem for the public.

Given that urban areas are home to a growing majority of the population, it is critical from both an environmental and public health perspective.
